Question: Do you harm any animals whilst working in your lab?

Keywords: , ,

  1. Personally, I don’t , as I work with human samples taken from volunteers and the process is painless. However some people in my lab have to catch animals out in the field, usually for blood or hair samples, however they try to make this as stress-free for the animals as possible and follow all our University’s guidelines for the ethical treatment of animals. Most of the only animals in my laboratory have been dead for many, many years and are either museum specimens or bones.
