Question: When you say the upper reproductive tract do you mean a human and do you have to 'retrieve' the oblects/things to find the bugs??

The upper reproductive tract for women includes the uterus, ovaries and Fallopian tubes. The surgeons collect these organs/parts of these organs from women who might have abnormal cells sugesting cancer or some other reproductive problem like being unable to conceive a pregnancy. I test the bits that the surgeons remove, and only if they are not needed for the diagnosis.
